ISE Structural Engineers Attending the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design 2026

Connecting with Architects and Design Leaders at AIA26

ISE Structural Engineers is pleased to announce that we will be attending the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design 2026 (AIA26), taking place June 10–13, 2026, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. Hosted by the American Institute of Architects, AIA26 brings together thousands of architects, designers, engineers, and construction professionals from across the country for four days of education, networking, and collaboration.

Representing ISE at this year’s conference will be Hannah Rogers, PE, Director of Business Development. Hannah will be meeting with architects, developers, owners, and industry partners to discuss how early structural engineering collaboration can help project teams improve coordination, manage risk, and maintain project schedules from concept through construction.

Supporting Architects Across Multiple Market Sectors

For nearly two decades, ISE Structural Engineers has partnered with leading architectural firms throughout the United States on projects ranging from multifamily housing and mixed-use developments to education, healthcare, hospitality, civic, industrial, and commercial facilities.

Our team understands that successful projects require more than structural calculations. Effective structural engineering begins with understanding the architect’s vision and helping transform that vision into a practical, buildable solution that supports design intent, budget requirements, construction sequencing, and long-term performance.

Throughout our history, we have developed strong working relationships with architects ranging from boutique design studios to nationally recognized firms. These partnerships have allowed us to contribute to projects of varying scale and complexity while maintaining a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.

Expertise in Modular and Offsite Construction

One of ISE’s core specialties is structural engineering for modular and offsite construction. As modular construction continues to gain momentum across the United States, architects increasingly seek engineering partners who understand the unique challenges associated with factory-built structures.

ISE works closely with architects, manufacturers, and contractors to address transportation loads, lifting requirements, module connections, stacking conditions, and installation sequencing. This expertise helps project teams realize the schedule, quality, and cost benefits that modular construction can provide while maintaining architectural flexibility.

From multifamily housing and hospitality projects to student housing and workforce housing developments, our experience in offsite construction continues to support innovative project delivery methods across the country.

Why We Attend AIA

The AIA Conference remains one of the most important gatherings in the architecture and design industry. The event provides opportunities to engage with industry leaders, explore emerging trends, learn about new technologies, and strengthen relationships that ultimately benefit our clients and project partners. AIA26 will feature nearly 350 educational sessions, networking opportunities, architectural tours, and the industry’s largest architecture and design expo.

As the built environment continues to evolve, collaboration between architects and structural engineers becomes increasingly important. Whether discussing sustainability goals, modular construction strategies, resilient building design, or complex structural systems, these conversations help create better outcomes for project teams and building owners alike.

Let’s Connect in San Diego

If you’ll be attending AIA26, we would welcome the opportunity to connect. Whether you’re exploring a new project, evaluating modular construction opportunities, or looking for a structural engineering partner with experience across multiple market sectors, we’d be glad to start the conversation.

To schedule a meeting with Hannah Rogers during the conference, contact the ISE team before the event or reach out through our website.

We look forward to seeing our architectural partners, clients, and industry colleagues in San Diego this June.
