Who We Are
We are a licensed and well experienced structural engineering design firm. We are a problem-solving and efficiency-aware team that has the client’s end product and budget in mind. In addition to our work ethic and general ethos, we consistently educate ourselves about building code requirements, industry trends, material costs, while always keeping an eye on constructability.
What We Do
We strive to always meet our client’s structural engineering needs. We achieve this through great communication, active project coordination, keeping construction costs low, choosing the right solutions for every project, and meeting project deadlines. Our ultimate goal is to provide an end product that meets our client’s needs and achieves life safety.
How We Operate
We are a well-structured company with most positions consisting of Principal Engineers, Project Managers, Design Engineers, and Administrative Support Team. Our structure ensures the client is getting the right engineering for reach part of the project. Typically, our Principal Engineers will be the main contact for initial project discussions, idea, critical analysis and writing proposals. Once a project is awarded the information is passed to a Project Management team with a Project Manager & Design Engineer with the Principal Engineer overseeing all of the work.
Our Tools
We use state-of-the-art technology and methods. Our engineers are always equipped with the latest enginering software and super computers to run them. We use drawing tools like AutoCAD, Revit & Blue Beam. We use engineering calculation software like RISA, Enercalc, Adapt, Etabs, many others, as well as handwritten Excel programs. To stay organized our entire team uses Deltek Vantagepoint to track time, contracts, client information, invoice clients, etc. This software provides past project history so we can set our typical fees for billing based on past project experience.
How We Ensure Quality
Our team of engineers has worked many years and countless hours to develop office standards. All of the end product drawings and calculations are started with an office standard document. This ensures we design and draw consistent across all teams and offices. Our teams also have a built-in system of design, review, backcheck and final review. This gets many eyes on a design to ensure the end product meets client needs and achieves life safety.
