The Quintero St project converted a single-family residence lot to a modular four-lot three-story stacked single-family home above parking garage over a slab on grade foundation. Across the four lots, the homes totaled 7,370 square feet. The steep slope along the project street posed design challenges resulting in retaining walls and much coordination for construction. ISE Structural Engineers provided structural engineering services for the project. This Los Angeles, CA, factory- and site-built housing project was designed with Noah Ornstein and architect KRDB, and completed in 2018.
