The Big Bear Residence is a modular custom single family home in Bear Valley, CA. The 4,116 square foot three-story home was a combination of site- and factory-built residence over a cripple wall foundation with hillside retaining walls and a crawlspace. The home is comprised of four modules, and the location causes higher design criteria due to being a Heavy Snow Region. ISE Structural Engineers provided structural engineering services for the project. The single family custom home is in-design with Toby Long, Architect from ch x tld (CleverHomes by TobyLongDesign).
