Seismic Retrofit of existing 14,000 square foot single-story Retail Building from the 1940s. Seismic Retrofit and code update includes concrete roof, walls, and floors with FRP, steel framing, and add reinforcing and concrete, and strengthening the existing foundation with added helical/push piers or increase in footing size. Reinforce roof with additional steel supports due to damaged existing concrete beams. New HVAC (4) units added, partition wall framing/bracing, wood studs walls and wood ceiling platform acoustic ceiling system. ISE Structural Engineers provided structural engineering services for the project. The seismic retrofit building was for client Ernst, Stavro, BloFeld, LLC, and services were completed in 2023.
